Chromarow Privacy Policy

Effective date: 24 September 2026

Chromarow is designed to be playable without an account. This policy explains how information is handled in local, nearby, and online games.

Local games

Local games run on your device. Game settings, language and audiovisual preferences, the player names you enter, and lifetime game statistics may be stored locally in the app’s private storage. This information is not sent to the Chromarow online room service. Removing the app removes its local app data, subject to normal device backups managed by Apple.

Nearby games

Nearby play connects participating iPhones directly using Apple’s Multipeer Connectivity framework. Chromarow uses Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and local-network access to discover nearby players and exchange player names, game settings, actions, and game state.

Nearby game data is exchanged among the participating devices and is not sent to the Chromarow online room service. Nearby sessions are not retained by the developer after the session ends. The host device coordinates the game and must remain connected.

Online rooms

Online rooms use a Cloudflare-hosted service. When you create or join an online room, Chromarow processes:

This information is used only to create, operate, reconnect, and protect the online room. Chromarow does not require an account and does not use online-room information for advertising, profiling, or cross-app tracking.

Online room records expire and are deleted after approximately 12 hours of inactivity. If the host explicitly leaves a room, its stored room record is deleted immediately. Cloudflare may process limited technical information, such as network addresses and security logs, under its own service and privacy terms.

Motion, sound, and haptics

Motion access is optional and is used only to recognize a shake gesture for rolling the dice. Chromarow does not retain or transmit raw motion measurements.

Sound and haptic settings are processed on the device. Chromarow mixes game sounds with other audio when supported by iOS.

Sharing

When you share a room invitation or result image, Chromarow uses the standard iOS share sheet. You choose the destination. Information sent to that destination is governed by its own terms and privacy practices.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

Chromarow does not include advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking. It does not sell personal information.

Children

Chromarow is a general-audience strategy game and does not knowingly collect information from children for advertising or profiling. Online room participants should use a nickname rather than a full legal name.

Support messages

If you email support, the developer receives your email address and any information you choose to include. This information is used only to respond to your request and is retained in the support mailbox as needed. Do not include sensitive information in a support request.

Your choices

You can play local or nearby games without using the online room service. You can deny motion access and roll using the on-screen control. Bluetooth and local-network access are required only for nearby multiplayer.

Because Chromarow has no user accounts and online rooms use temporary random identifiers, the developer generally cannot identify or retrieve a particular player’s room data from an email address. Room data is deleted automatically as described above.
